SUMMARY:Intro to Python for Business and Finance
DESCRIPTION:Overview \n\n2-day course\nPython is a high-level\, object-oriented programming language that is used in a variety of projects ranging from data science and machine learning to backend web development. In fact\, it is one of the most in-demand programming languages today. Learning Python is a great entry point into the technical world as the syntax is much easier to learn compared to other programming languages. Because of its syntax simplicity\, Python is a common first programming language for business and finance individuals. But do not be misinformed though! Just because Python has easier syntax does not make it any less powerful compared to other languages. Many of the world’s tech majors use Python as part of their technical ecosystems. This one-day\, hands-on introductory course teaches students foundational Python concepts and how to use Python’s popular libraries to complete various technical tasks. Students are presented with Python coding challenges throughout the day to test their understanding of the material. The course culminates with a challenging in-class coding project where students apply concepts taught in the course to create a game. This is Cognitir’s standard one-day Intro to Python course (7 hours of instruction) and may be broken up into several days.\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Offers:\n● A solid Python foundation\n● Hands-on Python programming experience\n● Overview of different development environments\n● Overview of popular Python libraries\n● Course notes\, certificate of completion\, and post-seminar email support for 1 year\n● An engaging and practical training approach with a qualified instructor with relevant technical\, business\, and educational experiences\n\n\n\n\nCourse Designed For:\nThis course is relevant for any professionals who want to gain a hands-on introduction to Python. 1/3 Course and Contact Information Level: Beginner Prerequisite: None Duration: 1 day (7 hours) info@cognitir.com +1 908 505 5991 (US) www.cognitir.com\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Curriculum:\n● Introduction ○ What is Python? ○ Use cases ○ Python vs. other popular languages\n● Python Development Environments ○ Brief tour of Jupyter Notebook\, Sublime Text Editor\, and other IDEs\n● Data Structure Fundamentals ○ Numbers ○ Variables ○ Strings ○ Print formatting ○ Lists ○ Tuples ○ Dictionaries ○ Sets ○ Booleans\n● Comparison Operators and Conditionals ○ If\, elif\, and else statements\n● Loops ○ For loops While loops\n● Other Useful Operators ○ Range ○ Zip ○ In ○ Min & max ○ Input\n● Importing Libraries ○ Overview of common libraries\n● Built-in Methods ○ List methods 2/3 ○ String methods ○ Dictionary methods\n● Debugging Code ○ Printing variables ○ Pylint ○ Unittest\n● In-class Project \n● Wrap-Up and Summary Course Content Developer\n\n\n\n\n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 21 & Thursday\, October 22\, 2026\nLocation: Virtual\, Zoom based\nCourse Hours: 5:30 – 9:00 pm EDT\, 2-day course\nEarly Bird Registration & Deadline: Members- $419\, Non-Members – $519 until September 21\, 2026\nRegistration Closes: October 16\, 2026- COB\n\n\n\n\n\nCognitir website\n\n\n\n \n REGISTER

SUMMARY:Wealth Management Asset Allocation Panel: How Leading Advisors and Portfolio Managers Are Positioning Client Portfolios in Today’s Market
DESCRIPTION:How Leading Advisors and Portfolio Managers Are Positioning Client Portfolios in Today’s Market\n  \nInvestors are struggling to keep up with rapid fire market changes\, as the Mag7 becomes the Lag7 and as small cap and international outperform. Outside of public markets\, private equity dry powder is reaching record highs of $2.7 trillion\, but investors worry about private credit redemptions and AI disrupting private software companies. These changes are forcing wealth managers to navigate an allocation landscape that looks very different from the one they’ve grown accustomed to — especially as clients become more tax‑aware and more empowered (thanks to AI) than ever before. \nAgainst this backdrop of elevated geopolitical risk\, multi‑decade currency volatility\, and one of the longest yield‑curve inversions in modern history according to the 2 and 10 year\, the policy outlook adds yet another layer of uncertainty. A new Fed Chair brings the possibility of a shift in tone and framework — and markets are already asking whether the Fed will “Warsh its hands” of a strictly data‑driven approach in favor of something more discretionary. The implications for rates\, liquidity\, and both public and private‑market valuations are hard to ignore. \nJoin the Washington DC CFA Society’s Wealth Management Asset Allocation Panel for a timely discussion on how experienced advisors and portfolio managers are positioning across equities\, fixed income\, alternatives\, cash\, and global markets in an environment where money‑market yields hover near 5% and private‑market opportunities continue to expand. Panelists will also highlight the tax‑aware strategies most relevant to today’s high‑net‑worth clients — from asset location and tax‑loss harvesting to municipal positioning\, withdrawal sequencing\, and managing concentrated stock — all with an eye toward maximizing after‑tax outcomes in a world where clients expect more transparency\, personalization\, and evidence‑based decision‑making than ever. \nModerator: Amy Raskin\, CIO\, Chevy Chase Trust \nPanelists:Jonathan Murrell\, Senior Vice President\, Senior Portfolio Manager\, Bank of America \nScott Puritz\, Managing Director\, Member of Investment Committee\, Rebalance \nMore speaker information to be announced! \nDate: Thursday\, October 29\, 2026 | 4:30 – 6:30 pm \nLocation: Sands Capital\, 1000 Wilson Boulevard\, Suite 3000\, Arlington\, VA 22209 \n  \nPricing:\nMember – Early Bird $60 | Regular $75\nNonmember – Early Bird $110 | Regular $125 \nEarly Bird Deadline: October 15\, 2026 \nLast day for refund minus $15 admin fee – October 22\, 2026 \n  \nMetro Station – Rosslyn (Blue\, Orange\, Silver) \n\n \n Register NOW \n	\n\n  \nThank you to our host:
