CFA Society Washington, DC is honored to welcome Afsaneh Beschloss, Founder and CEO of RockCreek to the podium at this upcoming distinguished speaker luncheon.

In 2021, Ms. Beschloss was named by Barron’s as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance,” for the second consecutive year in a row. In the same year, Beschloss was recognized by American Banker as one of the “25 Most Powerful Women in Finance.” She is the recipient of the Institutional Investor Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as and the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award.

During this luncheon discussion with Julie Dellinger, CFA, Chair of CFA Society Washington, DC, Ms. Beschloss will reflect on her decades-long career in finance, offer valuable career advice, and impart her guiding principles used to shape major decisions throughout her professional life. Beschloss’ primary focus has been on smart, climate investments. As such, she will illustrate what that means to her and, of course, discuss returns.
