They say the only certainties in life are death and taxes. Change might be the third. CFA Society Washington, DC is honored to welcome Mary Duffy, Managing Director of Andersen’s US National Tax office to the podium. Duffy will uncover some of these likely, if not certain, tax policy implications under the Biden Administration.

In addition to her role as co-leader of Andersen’s accounting methods team, Duffy advises clients on tax policy and legislative matters and is a frequent speaker around the nation. In her remarks, Duffy will breakdown possible outcomes of the Biden Administration’s tax proposals, how they may impact high net worth private clients and provide her take on the current state of affairs with potential new tax legislation. We’ll discuss the latest intel on capital gain rates, proposed tax rate changes, possible mandatory mark-to-market regime and revisions to the estate and gift tax regime.
