Robert Hellmann, President of Hellmann Career Consulting, has helped over 1,000 individuals to achieve career and job-search success and dozens of organizations to improve effectiveness via career and executive coaching, workshops, and outplacement services.
As a career coach and executive coach, Rob helps clients to define and achieve their career and job-search goals, develop as managers and leaders, and navigate challenging work situations. He combines a warm, empowering style with a pragmatic, bottom-line focus that gets results.
Rob is a sought-after speaker, and has delivered hundreds of seminars, workshops and keynote speeches to corporations, institutions of higher-education, professional associations, government agencies and non-profits. Certified by GetFive as a Senior Career and Executive Coach, he has developed key aspects of their coach certification curriculum. Rob has also been certified by LinkedIn as a “LinkedIn Professional Recruiter,” and partnered with LinkedIn to train many of their organizational clients on the LinkedIn Recruiter platform.
Rob’s background includDSC_8217 compressed for websites’ over 20 years of experience working for top-tier clients and employers, including American Express, JP Morgan Chase, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the Audubon Society.  At Chase he facilitated division-wide organizational development and change management initiatives, and at American Express he chaired employee engagement and leadership development teams.
Recognized by his coaching colleagues for his expertise and thought leadership, Rob has been invited to “coach the coaches” via chapter seminars at the National Career Development Association, the International Coach Federation, GetFive’s Coaches Network, the Mid-Atlantic Career Counselors Association (MACCA) and the Metropolitan New York College Career Planning Officers Association (MNYCCPOA).
Active in non-profits, Rob has served on the board of the Association for Talent Development (ATD-NYC); he also co-led their Career Development SIG for six years. Previously Rob co-led the Career Development arm of the Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG). Rob’s educational background includes a BS in Economics/Math from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He lives in New York City.
